There are many things to enjoy in Warrnambool. We as a family, like to do some of these activities.
The Promenade Walk is 4.2km from the Pavillion to Point Richie, one way.
You can walk, scooter, run or cycle along the track
Visit Tower Hill
Tower Hill is our local nature reserve. This is a must , especially,for any overseas visitors to Warrnambool and the Great South Coast.
The reserve is full of Australian animals like koalas, emus, wallabies and kangaroos.
It is of geology fascination, and of Aboriginal significance. It makes the experience worthwhile for the whole Family.
Warrnambool has many coastal beaches for walking along swimming or even surfing.
- Hopkins River is a lovely long beach
- The Flume, an excellent surfing spot.
-Main Beach, is a safe place to swim between the flags.
Cycling - Bike Trails
Warrnambool has some fantastic bike trails.

Visit Port Fairy
The small coastal town of Pt.Fairy is 28km away, a great day out for the whole family. The shops are full of treasures for everyone and the food is great. Grab a latte and enjoy the Griffiths Island Walk. Try to loose your husbands dear ladies, there is some great retail therapy here.
A good lolly shop and delicious ice cream at Pocco's or Rebecca's, for kids.
